The Ladies Take Control @ Formula Friday 7th July @ So:Luxe, Lincoln.
Formula are well and truly back in full effect! After the madness of our May event we have decided to bring you something a bit special. This month Formula will once again be presenting a night of top hard dance, trance and techno @ Lincolns premier venue So:Luxe. This month the team will be turning the decks over to some of the Uks finest female trance Djs, so without further hesitation allow us to introduce the lovely ladies that will be gracing Formula with their presence on Friday 7th July.
Tylor Leigh: Mixmag’s future Hero 2006 / The Gallery / Garlands / Goodgrief
When you think of big name female DJ’s Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Lottie, Smokin Jo and Sister Bliss all come to mind! Unbelievably there has been no significant female trance talent on the UK dance scene until now! Supported by the likes of Radio 1’s Fergie and previous gigs at The Gallery, Goodgreef, Garlands and Promise, the budding Princess of Bosh is set to become a name on everyone’s lips in 2006 after recently becoming a Mixmag Future hero and show why she is hotly tipped as the next big thing in trance. For Tylor it’s all about the atmosphere, which means building up her sets tune by tune, choosing the right moment for it to hit its peak. Combine this with energetic crowd interaction and you have the recipe for one big party!! After Debut sets at Inside out, Garlands and Goodgreef, Tylor has also played explosive sets at Cream , The Coach, Garlands, Dance Academy, Escape, Jfk’s Live Loud
Pandora S-K: Trance Generation / Spangulation / Knowwhere / Twisted / Peach
Pandora S-K has quickly become hot property on the UK Underground Trance scene, and continues to pack dance floors with euphoric riffs and driving beats, with her own brand of Uplifting Euphoric Trance.
Pandora S-K is resident of Spangulation – a highly successful trance underground party at the 414 in Brixton, Oop’s – an event that is diverse in the music policy; playing trance and house and lastly, a very sexy House event – Sophisticated Dance, where she plays Funky, Dirty House.
Pandora S-K has played various events alongside; Hemstock and Jennings, Matt Darey, Lee Mullin (Hybrid), John The Dentist, Pulsar, Graham Gold, Darren Pearce, Mike Koglin, Dave Lea, Ian Betts, Oliver Leighs, Taylor Lea, Sophie Sugar and Vicky Devine.
Apart from playing at her resident parties, she also guest’s in and around London, Wales and up North. - On her home turf, in London, Pandora S-K can be tracked down guesting at Peach, Frantic, Menthol, Trance Spectrum, Dirty Funky Sexy, Tasty and Addiction – Just to name a few. She has played at many venues such as KoKo, Heaven, Turnmills, The Fridge, The Factory, Hidden, Mass and Soundshaft
Laura May: Polysexual / Godskitchen
Laura won the Mixmag Bedroom hero competition in November 2004, which led to a set at the mighty Godskitchen in April 2005. From this set came a request to play at the Polysexual "Girlysexual" event in July 2005. More recently Laura has played out at two nights in Ibiza in August 2005. A house / breaks set at Kanya Bar, and a trance set for Charlys Angelz at Play2. She has also appeared as the Solid State Showcase on Paul Kershaw's Saturday night show on Galaxy FM.
Sarah C: Housewives Choice / Baby Passion / Base
Sarah C has been spinning the sound of Hard Dance / Hard Trance and Techno for the past 5 years. At the age of 15 she won a set at Space in Leeds to warm up for the Tidy Boys. From that day she has never looked back, three years later full steam ahead this lady is making head way for herself, having played events around the country such as Housewives Choice (Leeds), Baby Passion (Lougborough), Influence (Lincoln) and many more!
arah has an amazing wow factor to her musical ability, not just behind the decks, but also in the studio. Her productions alone have caught the ear of many artists including Jupe (Fired Up Records), Jamie Taylor aka Tik Tok and also Matt Gash who have both recently collaborated with Sarah with some dynamite audio pleasure!
Sarah has held residencies at infamous Leeds based event, Housewives Choice, and has gigs lined up around the UK as well as a very first Ibiza gig in July at the Charlyz Angelz tour!
