Why didn't anyone tell me they were heading to Vegas for Memorial??? I was there too! I danced at ICE Saturday night and Sunday night (though I would prefer to see Deep Dish @ JET) and I was also at Rehab on Sunday, dancing next to the DJ booth the whole time. I was conversating with Jes most of the time, she's a wicked chick...................
Tijs definitely made Rehab insane. It was the first time I can honestly say the west coast partied like the rest of the world, cause' it was nuts. The amount of people at Rehab and everyone enjoying themselves, all types of characters there. Not often you see a scene like on the westside. I was pretty impressed with the surroundings and I was sober!! |

I am soo regretting not being able to make it out to Rehab. Oh well I'll be there next time for sure. :tongue2 |

Me too! My body had to have sleep! I couldn't do it to my body! I did after hours the night before and I didn't after hours Tiesto the night after.It was the only 4 hours of sleep I got the whole trip! |

You've been kooked up in San Diego and LA too long, me thinks! LOL. Cause on the right night and the right atmosphere, no vibe on the west coast is better than SFs, IMO. And the vibe I speak of is never on a Friday or Saturday night.
Armin + G&D @ Mighty on April 1, 2005. Free party. less than 24 hours notice. Small venue. PURE MAGIC.
Spundae is bringing back that feeling here as a lot of its large parties are on Thursday or Sunday nights now. Hell, next time Armin plays here is on a Monday night (July 3).
It's just a huge party atmosphere. It gets to a point where no one cares about the venue. Or the lighting. or the props. It's just abotu the party and the kick ass music. That's the focus. No one cares about anything else. It's just fun fun fun!!
Ahhh, this totally brings back memories of the Chemical Brothers playing at Spundae on a Tuesday night here a couple years ago. INSANITY!!!!!!! |

I wish we had that vibe more often down in LA :/ The closest I've seen that happen is at Basic Fridays, usually everyone there is pretty cool...though some nights still get alot of hollywood dress up types.
I remember Dance Valley in Holland, I got baked just from lighting other people's joints when they'd ask for a light...cause they'd always offer a puff. :D Holland rocks. |
