Our long awaited debut release on the Green Dot Series is everything you’ve been waiting for. The deeper, more mature and musical side of Ready Mix is on display right here.
Leading the series is Dallas, Texas native & Ridgeback Recordings partner Darren Duvall. With past work experience on Warner Brothers, releases on Missionary Music and some extensive knowledge in musical instruments, Darren delivers a timeless piece which is sure to leave his mark on us.
On The A side, Darren emits a deep, sexy & luscious house vibe with a message. An intoxicating groove that reels you in with dreamy female vocals whispering about “controlling everything you feel”. Deep pads, a groovy baseline, some profound background efx and a familiar house riff are all the ingredients of this mix.
The deep dub on the flip side sounds like “Part 2” of the song. Darren injects more melody along with some extra female vocals and an old school piano while replacing the baseline and swing with a bouncier one. Giving us another sultry and strong breath of fresh air…
