Format: backpacker and cheap hotels/hostels/huts
Weeks 1-3: Adventure ~ Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia
Week 4: Relax & Party ~ Thailand (Dec 5/6 – Full Moon Party @ Koh Pha Ngan!), Kuala Lumpur, Singapore |

Here's the thing, the decision to do this trip only came about last week really. However I estimate a minimum of 3K will be required (budgeting 3.5K with spending money), which I should have before November. I'll whack as much as I can on the credit card ;)
rough estimate...
1150 = food 23 days @ $50 AUD per day
1150 = accom 23 days @ $50 AUD per day
525 = airfare (outbound: Thai Airways(TG) Syd to Bangkok = $525 AUD (or 30,000 QF points to fly Qantas), inbound: Singapore to Sydney (Singapore Air) = 35,000 KrisFlyer points)
800 = spending
