Our resident KRAFTY KUTS returns to Vancouver for a very special occasion… his west coast, debut solo artist album release party! Breaks heads will already know this, but the album is called “Freakshow” and is coming out on the label Against the Grain in June!
It’s been 9 months since he was last here, but in that time he has not only finished this album which “touches on hip hop and breaks with all the juicy bits in between,” but he also recently picked up the trophy for Best DJ at the Breakspoll 2005 awards for the second year running! We brought him out twice in 2005 of which he sold both shows out in advance with people lining up as store doors were opening to pick-up tickets. To showcase Krafty and this event, we are having it at Richards on Richards so you can see first hand the Krafty-one at work proving why he has won the awards he has year after year. This will be a 3 hour set full of Hip Hop, Funk, Breakbeats of all flavors and some DnB for good measure all of which Vancity clearly loves. You do not want to miss this event!

NEW SINGLE FROM FREAKSHOW OUT ON AUGUST 10th!
Following up the booty shaking “Bass Phenomenon” by Krafty Kuts & Tim Deluxe, we bring you the next single from Krafty Kuts forthcoming “Freakshow” album. “Tell Me How You Feel” is released on 21st August and once again we’re shown a different sound from Krafty Kuts with this funkin’ disco biscuit. Look out for remixes from Young Punx and Kid Kenobi v Rogue Element, followed by the “Freakshow” album on 4th September.
