To be fair - most europeans wouldn't have a clue who the half the baseballers and american footballers of the worlds were either, and more than likely couldn't give a , cos these sports are rubbish.

The list is so blatantly done by americans :haha:

- Golf. Never heard of those 2 guys. Does anyone care about golf in Europe? Maybe a tiny little bit, but to the extent they do in America? Never understood their fixation with it, it's dreadfully boring. Which doesn't make any sense, since nearly all other popular sports in America are in the complete opposite of the spectrum: over-produced tv shows with HUGE MOTHERING ACTION every 2 seconds.

- Sebastian Bourdais??!! Ok, the guy IS good. But he is the single superstar in a series based in the United States of America. If he isn't known there, where the is he? In his birth town?

- Rooney/Adriano. They're promising and hyped, but placing them there makes them look like the 2nd and 3rd best football players in the world right now, which they aren't. Especially Adriano.

They got it spot on with Ronaldinho tho.

True but I think this list pretty much underlines the fact that america needs to integrate its sports model with that of the rest of the world.

You play cricket, wel just shorten the bat and widen the ball and call it baseball.

You run with the ball at your feet, wel run with it in our hands and place the goal 20 frikin feet above the ground

You play hockey.. ummm wel just replace the grass with ice.

Its one thing to have shower exclusivity on yourself by measuring temperature, speed and pronouncing words in a different way but having a world series that is competed for by all american teams isnt gonna win them ne fans.
