Paolo was WICKED. Rockin tunes all night, great movement and flow to the tracks going from funk to deeper prog to a mix of breaks.
Liked that he finished with a chill breaks mix of Seven Cities which really brought back some great memories. He was doing some great layering on a lot of tracks, dropped the new Prydz mix of Aftermath and sliced up Wonderland Ave - White Horse to even more funked up goodness.
Kevin came back on and dropped Star Guitar and I closed my eyes and could see the video playing in my mind (directed by Michel Gondry and amazing). Sad that this will be the last Focus Friday @ Lotus but what a way to end. |

Like the Fixx once said though... one thing leads to another.
Goodbye Focus @ Lotus... hello Focus@Gecko which from what I've heard is larger, cleaner, and having a full soundsystem put in up to Focus specs. The evolution sounds very promising with the addition of such a new clubbing venue. Very good that it will remain on fridays as well. Good meetin ya @ Lotus Julian. Cheers :) |
