BIO: Whether you ask other DJs, clubbers, or music critics who their favorite DJ is, Danny Howells is the most common answer. His passion and dedication to DJing has seen Danny placed in DJ Magazine's top 20 DJs in the world for the last 6 years. Danny has a unique, eclectic sound which as been described as "deepsexyfuturistictechfunkhouse" and it's this sound which which is shaking floors worldwide. With over 14 years of experience, Danny has become truly international. His hectic schedule regularly takes him all over Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia. He's DJed in the world's coolest clubs and held residencies at Renaissance, Twilo and Home. Danny's 10 hour marathon sets at the Arc in New York are legendary, and his party at the Winter Music Conference in Miami every year is so hard to get into even celebrities like Brad Pitt are seen haggling at the door to get in among the thousands of party-goers. It's not just in the club where Danny has made a name for himself, he's also been busy in the studio. His latest offering; GU MIAMI is being hailed as one of the best DJ mix comps of all time, and his recently released AZULI CLASSICS album is truly remarkable. As a producer he has also struck gold with his 2004 hit "From Dusk Til Dawn" and (with Deep Dish as "Size DDD") and the Eminem sampling "Nobody listens to techno". Danny's infectious personality and individual style is what really puts him a cut above the rest though. You can really sense his connection with the crowd wherever he plays, and he has fully earned the label "the clubbers DJ". Connected is thrilled to bring him back to Edmonton on June 29th. His first visit to Edmonton earlier in January this year saw Danny play one of the funnest DJ sets we have ever heard in an intimiate, small room VIP show. Once again with Luke Morrison supporting, Danny is back to play for a bigger crowd as the summer swings into full gear. Join us with one of the all-time greats this June 29th!!
