FLASH BROTHERS!! If you can make this happen, please for the love of God do it!

Anyway, I don't really see Hush as a good venue for electronic stuff (I've only been there once, but just the impression I got). I'd love to see more stuff happen at Rich's/2401 San Jacinto/Whatever the hell they call it these days. That's a great venue with, in my opinion, hands-down the best lighting anywhere in town and a ing awesome sound system. It perplexes me why more stuff doesn't happen there anymore....

There's also Meridian, of course, but I like the other places mentioned better.

YES! i would love flash brothers to come!

they've already been said, but my opinions on them:

Hush: probably won't get a good enough crowd, although i like the venue
Mbar: very nice if DJ is Junkie XL-type of happy when he plays, otherwise, it's kind of bland (DJ booth on second floor)
Warehouse Live: although it'll probably be too big for Flash Brothers; haven't been, but heard good things about it
Richs: where most of the post-hyperia shows were; i've enjoyed this venue
Meridian: kind of big, but it that means there's more room to dance. i really like it. this is probably my favorite of all of them (just because there's space)

hush: as far as looks go this club is the best out of Houston but too long of a drive..don't think it attracts weird people cause w/Deepe Dish it was awesome

Meridian: reminds me of a quinceanera hall..

RIchs: nice large venue...We had alot of SPundae events here it was nice.. I guess this one would do

MBar: its ok... if your looking for that upscale looking venue..

I'm originally from Houston, but now in New Orleans. Houston clubs come and go. Few survive over a long time. The crowds seem fickle to me. There are many venues and places, but it's the 'good' crowd that makes the night fun sometimes.
Check http://www.77002.com/ to see what's going on around Houston. They have been doing this since forever.
Hope this helps some.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned Clark's on Main Street in downtown? Not the largest venue but when commix played there for free it was pretty cool!

Clarks & Deans is actually a pretty nice venue. It's not the most upscale, but it's got a good atmosphere, drinks aren't too expensive, and the sound is good. I really enjoyed it as a place for Hernan Cattaneo and Infusion earlier this year. It has a big area that they use as either a stage or VIP type area, which could make it a good place if the Flash Bros. would be doing a live set.
