| I guess quake 2 is better than q3. I played q2 quite often about tho years ago, and when q3 was released, everyone 'escaped' into it. Only the best guys are still fragging q2 now. I'll have a lpb soon so I hope I'll be able to join them... |

| I still play quake 2, we got so good at playing the first level, that it got stupid. But now i like quake 3, it is much better, but gameplay for quake 2 and 3 are near enough the same, but i am a graphics man, i cant wait for the days when graphics look like real life, and it doesnt look that far away :D |

as much as Id like to say that theres always gonna be limitations on GFx and whatnot, i agree with ya.... some day they will have gfx almost flawless, itll be sweet as hell! Just think, by the time I have ordered all the parts for my new system around may and have it together and running in june, it will already be outdated! Sheeeeit.

Well, you're right.
I still play Quake 2 almost on the daily basis.
Only thing I regret is when playing in multiplayer mode, you can't activate the monsters, just the plain deathmatch. It tends to get boring that way pretty soon.
But still a great entertaining game.

deathmatch gets boring? you must be playing pretty bad players, man. :p that game is hours and hours upon hours of fun. which is why i won't let myself buy a good mouse. i can't let myself return to that lovely addiction.
but i treat myself at my friend's place.. he's got a smokin computer and a sweeeeet mouse and a 64 meg video card.

| yes we should, im certainly up for that, even tho i haven't played regular death match in ages. Im into a mod called Vortex now. Amazing mod, involves stategy and skills, you create characters with special abilities and as you frag away you upgrade. Check it out @ http://planetquake.com/vortex. | well. quake1 still destroys all of the other quakes.. its a classic, the gameplay is better than quake2.. and DM is better than q3.. q3 is a great game though because of its graphics.. but the whole futuristic type of thing threw me away from it.. |

| I have completed quake 2 and 3, then i got bots for them, lol, so it takes up far to much of my life, lol, i love it. I prefered the id the game came with bots on quake 3, it is a really good way of tunning your skills. |
