I am reading this forum though and a lot of prices are sky high in some of these clubs. My question is...is there a market for more averaged priced clubs??
I am planning this in advance but I am looking to spend about a month somewhere after I get out of school in May. Hopefully the exchange rate would be better at that time.
Now my question is, do you think about 2000usd is a good mongering budget for a month?? Say I take a 300R girl out, with a 100R bar fine, with possibly 100R in drinks at the club. Anyway I am not super familiar with Sao Paulo so I am not sure if I should nix the idea or not with my budget. I know that money would go a long ways in Buenos Aires and I also know I could get top shelf quality in BsAs for 100usd which sounds pretty unrealstic in Sao Paulo. So please advise. |

So proud, in fact, that it's how he likes to spend his vacations... I wonder what your family thinks of you? I'm sure "disappointed" is just one of the words they'd use to describe their feelings about you.
Hooray for you Marak, I'm sure all of us will take your "review" under careful consideration, and more than likely never go out in Chicago again, as there is clearly no way to have a "kick ass" time out at a club. |

wow. if you're gonna come up here to bash the rest of us. then please don't post. cuz there were plenty of ppl dancing and if you're there to judge ppl by the way they dance, you sure as hell aren't there for the music.
it was a good time, even though i had to leave early(as always) :mad: so many ta's - such a pleasure. seneca rocked the penthouse..

Someone clearly has some issues with their social skills. We'll plan on no longer seeing these threads since you're too elitist to deal with any of us and only 2 people in Chicago are worthy of your praise. It's really just annoying to waste time listening to someone try to boost their ego & get a rise out of putting people down that they've never met, especially when they happen to be absolutely great individuals. Sorry if you didn't have fun seeing one of your favorite DJs but qualifying a show based almost solely on people's drunken dance moves?
Anyway for me last night was an absolute blast, from open bar (where we finally did not go overboard) to probably about 4 when we went for burritos. Seneca was tremendous in the lounge and I loved every track he played, it's a shame that Holden came on near the end of the set and caused a lot of people to miss some great music at the end of his set. Blake, good to meet you. Sorry they messed up your set again. We tried to go back to the lounge only to find a huge couch blocking the stairway.
Honestly I went more to check out Seneca and Blake. I've always like James' work somewhat but not overwhelmingly my personal taste. Seeing him live though really impressed me and I think I might have to go next time he's around.
Sorry about the potential afterparty not happening, as I thought my roommate would be sleeping somewhere else after he got locked out. Had no idea he'd smash the window to get in. Hope everyone enjoyed the tour of the wrestling themed apartment though! Hopefully we can work something out to have Seneca spin at the next afters, because I was really looking forward to that. Oh, and Rubin, by all means feel free to post any pictures of the figures, I'm not ashamed :D
Overall another wonderful night at Vision & great seeing all of you there & great to meet Blake & Rocky.
