A little bit about Kriece...

KRIECE [Proton Radio, EQ Gray, Kindred Sounds, Australia]

Kriece has been a permanent fixture on Australia's party scene now for over 10 years. He has played at all major Australian tours such as Ministry of Sound, Cream, Renaissance, Gatecrasher, Mixmag and DJ Mag. As a producer he records solo and collaborates with people such as James Zabiela & Jeff Bennett (as The Flying Doctors), Basek (Junkbeats), America’s Earth Deuley (Low Pressings, Hooj) & Tongut label boss Apoll. Coming soon is a new project with James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli. In recent times Kriece has perhaps become best known for his massive remix of Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker”, which James Zabiela included on his recent Renaissance Mix CD “Utilities”.

Last year’s release on Eukahouse with Jeff Bennett (“The 1986 Davis Cup EP”) has received massive support from the world’s biggest dj’s including Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo & Xpress-2. Kriece has recently kicked of his “Kindred Sounds” label which already has tracks and remixes lined up from Infusion, The Flying Doctors, Hakan Lidbo, Infusion, Oliver Lieb, Jeff Bennett, Phil K & more. Kriece also runs his digi-only label “Arabica” which features names such as Earth Dueley, Steve May, Nukes, Eelke Klein & more.

Coming soon are releases on Kindred Sounds, EQ Grey, & Offside. Kriece also hosts a monthly radio show on Proton which is broadcast world wide across the internet. Tune in at www.protonradio.com

good seeing everyone tonight. Blake gave us a good sampling of what Ableton can do - powerful stuff, makes me wanna check it out :). Kriece had a nice style, I liked how it was slower but had a "bangin" feel at the same time... heard some nice tracks. Left around 2:30. Andy was a drunken fool, lol.

obligatory teaser pic.

Yay I've been up all this time but doing exponentially less enjoyable stuff.

Glad to hear Andy stays true to form lol.
