Here is a 60 second clip of the B Side for the new Chicane single (Stoned In Love) released 24.04.06

Music For Elevators >> SAMPLE << (Right Click->Save Target As, to save to disk)

Stick the track on repeat for a few plays to get a feel for it.

First impressions: The clip is too short to determine its true potential, but long enough to know i like this a lot. I need to get hold of the CD !!!

is this album (music for elevators) the infamous re-work of 'easy to assemble' ?

EDIT: never mind I got it wrong... music for elevators is the B side, stoned in love is the A side...

sounds promising nonetheless...

sounds very good! this is the closest thing in the past few years to his old productions...

too bad he decided to definately move away from he's initial style... :sadgreen:

thanks for the sample!!

Oh yeah, this totally sounds like the old Chicane style! I'm loving it! When the pads come in, the track instantly starts breathing that summer vibe, like the old Chicane tracks did. Nice.

This sounds really good.

The B-side is far better than the A-side. Just like Chicane's old stuff.
DJ Cinos
Awesome. The ty single is now on my buy-list thanks to this b-side.

Stoned ... the side B of this track sounds like Chicane's old style. the beginning create's a lovely atmosphere. Listen and dreaming.

I like it.

Definitely reminds me of the old Chicane sound.

Yeah this is nice, definitely agree with you all about this being like his old style. Hopefully "Stoned In Love" will be the only real crappy pop track on the album, like "Don't Give Up" was on his last one. He shouldn't loose fans then, because there's plenty of people who love his stuff, especially from "Far From The Maddening Crowds" what a classic album, I still play it a lot and never get sick of it! But now that I think of it..he'll probably have "Love On The Run" on the album as well....ick...If he wants to do vocals track, that's fine, I like vocal tracks too, but i'de rather hear someone like Justine Suissa, then Tom Jones or whoever sang on "Love On The Run"...I guess I am just not a fan of male vocals in EDM...

you are aware there's a 3rd album? came out in 2003 with Love on the Run & Locking Down being the two singles. just it didn't receive a full release in most of the major countries, only available on import

"easy to assemble" it's called. i didn't rate it that much, to be honest, nothing compared to the first two
