Effective immediately, the Sony PlayStation 2 can now be purchased for $129.99 from retailers everywhere. The last price drop took place during E3 2004 when Sony announced the new price of $149.99.
$20 dollars will seal the deal for some people, even though it doesn't seem like such a dramatic price drop.
The big question is, will Microsoft follow up and drop the price of the XBOX? We'll have to wait till E3 to find out. |

| I dont know about the price drop to $129.99, Its still think its pretty steep, The system should be sold for at least $99.99, Besides, The PS3 is coming out in a few months. |

how much was a PS 1 after PS 2 came out?
and can you believe that sega games on Ebay have actually started to increase in price? I guess they're becoming collectors items now. This is hurting my goal of buying every one that was ever made.
oh yah and do you guys think PS 1 controllers would work on a PS 2? I have these sweet cordless ones. |
