DJ Aliases

I was just thinking of some of the aliases that DJs have, as either just aliases for themselves, or for combinations of DJs. A few months ago I learned that Airscape was Johan Gielen, and he was responsible for the insane remix of Kiss by the Vengaboys. Gouryella is one of my favorite aliases, being Ferry Corsten and DJ Tiesto. As well as System F, also being Ferry Corsten (You all know I love my Ferry).
What are some of the aliases that you know of? What are some of your favorites?
And why do you think DJs produce under different aliases?
I was just talking to some friends on the weekend about this, and I think that they produce under different aliases b/c they have different sounds. System F, Gouryella and Ferry Corsten himself all have different styles and those aliases themselves have quite distint sounds. |
