The demo is out! Downloading right now, 40 minutes left. I played the Beta two times, I'm glad I can play the demo now, all that waiting while playing the Beta...
Anyone who already played it? |

| Played the demo for about an hour, just played the first part and got to where you have to defend the your town from some invader. Its preaty enjoyable, new 3d environment turned out well, same gameplay value, but i'll probably wait till the price drops to $20-30 like I did with HoMMIV. |

| PLayed last weekend. Thought it was fun. Graphics reminded me alot of Warcraft 3. I liked how some of the creatures were considered as large (angels and griffins) meaning they took up four tiles instead of the small one tile creatures (archers and peasants) on the battle field. Allows you to gaurd units better I think. I also liked the revamped skills and attributes for the heroes. Each skill had a sub set of attributes available and this allowed for a lot of customization with your heroes. I never played the fourth edition of HOMM but loved and still play the third edition. I am considering picking this one up. Definitely check out the demo if you got the patience. Took me over night to get because I kept lagging out or something but worth it. |

I'm very impressed after playing this on my newly upgraded machine that can actually run the game. It looks beautiful and it retains a lot of the elements of the previous versions that I loved. I look forward to the full release.

I've played a couple of times now, and looking forward to the full version.
Although the single scenario map was a bit bald to me, I enjoyed playing it. I've begun with the campaign but haven't continued since I won the first fight against the enemy hero with the 5 archdevils. |

| I still play Heroes Of Might & Magic III: In The Wake Of God. I saw the Heroes V demo and I have to say: the battlefield gameplay totally sucked. |

Heroes III will always be my favorite. I missed the Wake of God though was that an expansion pack? |
