UKTA is weak...

For the amount of people that are UKTA's, there is no action whatsoever in this forum. This is a music community, yet there are barely any party listings. Also, nobody really responds at all. I posted a couple of threads and here like 3 weeks later there have been two replies. This could be a good party medium, but right now its e.

Welcome to a world where many great people used to post. However as trance went downhill faster than a chav in a stolen car, people lost the will to post. We have a great history but in it's current state, trance, and the clubs that used to play it are either dead, dying or flogging dead horses. Many of us stay in touch, but why use a forum where we only get people asking questions about london, people spamming events or a few people who've never tried to mix in with everyone else. I don't see it improving in the near future either, this doesn't make us weak, just jaded.

The trance scene needs some naked chicks behind the wheels of steel.
Or Kari Byron should start DJ-ing, clothes on or off

But serious, it's a shame. In the early days everything was better :(

Its because, in the past, no one knew each other.

Eventually all the local people met up, and got to know each other off of TA. So there's no point talking to each other on TA when you can do it in real life.

I only ever go on here to have the odd look in and sell records ;)

One of the UK's strengths is currently in the mix on Vonyc.com:

Well our Belgian forum is pretty lively, really... We're organising parties, Dj contests, etc
We're only with +/- 70 people and it's very cool :toothless

Maybe you should start uniting or organising things too ? The UK is big, so it must be possible to attract some new people or something...

the UKTA died long ago unfortunately

but as many of the older TAs will agree that the UKTA was one of the busiest and best boards on TA, its now sadly pretty much defunct as alot of people have moved away from the trance scene and added to that many of us now have to work and dont get much free time to post on here
