jo mate,

i love scot project music so i had to listen to this.

your remix starts of good, i like the bassdrum, maybe add some more high-end frequencies.

the percussions you got there do sound good but a bit basic at the moment.

the filtered percussions in the back are very good.

0.55: bassline starts. sounds very much like the original bassline. the original bassline is wickid, yours needs some more power in the lower frequencies.

buildup towards the break: i cannot say that i don't like it but some more stuff (sounds, noises, sequences) could be usefull in here. just filtering the bassline is not enough imo.

2.30: the break starts.
for my taste it starts to get a little bit to much of copying. i do not exactly remember the original and i might be totaly wrong but this sounds very much like the scot project buildup. you should come up with some more own ideas in here, a different pad sound, or a second pad that layers over the first, some sweeping effects for atmosphere, maybe some twists in the melody. be frisky.
technically the break sounds good, maybe a bit dry, i would use some more reverb and delay. the lead should be a bit more prominent.

3.50: the break ends, the main part enters: doesnt sound bad but pretty empty. it needs more percussions, a stronger lead and bassline.

alltogether this sunds like a well made remake to me. technicaly i realy see you got some skills. its just that everything sounds a bit basic and very much like the original to me. would be great to listen to your remix with some of your own ideas.

Nic etrack, you really need to PHATTEN up the main riff, it sound too thin. I like it though. Also that melody int he break seem to be cliping together, slightly move the Attack slider up a little so it goes in a loop smoothly. You need to add a couple of small sections in their to fill it out, called 'FILLS' just to add soemthing to it. Another bassline higher in octave (use the Subtractor, some small little fills (high pitched) too.

Very good mix, I like the drive. The drum work and the bass complement each other very well. They sound tight, great...
I also enjoyed the break, very well done, all the elements blend well together. Sounds awesome....
The remix sounds unfinished, since your intro and break take up most time in the track the chorus just seems too short and ends too fast.
In summary, great work, I like it, needs to be longer...
Cheers
