| Whats up everyone. I just started djing and i have grasped beat mixing trance somewhat. I was just wondering how do you beat mix hip hop? |

| ehm same idea, match the bass hits, and the snare drum hits, and all that good stuff :D maybe its just what I see, but hip hop djs seem to have a lot "uglier" transitions :D maybe its my biased...:) |

| I learned how to beatmatch with hip hop and then moved onto trance later...What I always do is match the snares on the 2nd beat...Since snares in hip will be on different beats then the normally 2 and 4 like trance, you have to reeally no your records... |

| listen to the bars and match them up... hiphop, u can count 1 2 3 4, and bob your head to the beat.. thats the way i do it, i kinda make an imaginary 1 2 3 4 beat in my head and match them up.. or use melodies, snare drums, vocals... |
