| jist of it was he felt that at that time there was not enough music of the "magik taste and caliber" to continue with the series... it ended at 7. PERIOD. and the magik 8 floating around on the internet that someone asks about every few months is fake... |

No the ISOS series started around the same time Magik 6 came out.

ISOS was "originally" a series Tiesto came out with that was more of a laid back series...as oppose to the Magik series that was more danceable.
Magik series will always be the best....when Tiesto was THE Magik Man....but the Magik Man has left the building. |

It's a real shame that Tiësto gave up his Magik series, I have all of them. I wish he came out with something new to the Magik series...

It's not a shame. He said it's dead and, at least in my opinion, it's better that they stay dead. Each Magik CD is great, and with the running trend of producers/DJs re-hashing old ideas and making them far less when compared to the quality of their predecessors, I'm happy that I can look at each CD in the series and say, "Yeah, they're all great."
If there's a Magik 8, I'd listen to it with an open mind, but I can guarantee that it will be the dark spot on the series. |

whats the deal w/ Tiesto's Forbidden Paradise series?
I'm assuming they were before Magick? b/c I've heard practically nothing about them, and they're not for sale at amazon.com. |
