For the month of March i am very excited to welcome one of the worlds top producer's, and he's a damn fine dj as well. From his home in South Florida to all corners of the globe, Thomas Penton has brought his groovin' beats to the masses. With a production list that can fill an entire page, and live mixes that control a dancefloor, this guy is respected across the board. With the ending of 2005, Penton decided to launch a new label called "Electric Candy Recordings". Allowing him to focus more on electro house styled projects. Electric Candy's first release, "Thomas Penton - Body Rock", remixed by Peter Presta, was out on January of 2006. Recently, Thomas finished compiling material for an upcoming official Mix CD with 19 Box Recordings in Japan. Our first hour this month will showcase a dj/producer that had quite an amazing year. Todd Smith represents one third of the production collective 'Pong Project', who saw a mega release late last year with 'backtalk' on fiberlineaudio. With stops at all of Detroit's premier EDM venues in the past few months, Smith has been perfecting his tribal and progressive house sound.
