International House Music Festival - Chicago 2006.

Aquadyne
Looks like this will be the first annual International House Music Festival in Chicago. It is in no way associated with SummerDance and is entirely separate from that. From what I understand, it goes on for 2 days and is a part of the closing ceremonies for Gay Games VII in Chicago. So get your fill of the gay and house all at once in July.

Also, I found out later from a gentleman who knows the festival organizers quite well that Danny Tenaglia was already confirmed for this event, the post does not mention that. Hopefully they will make an official announcement soon, if that is indeed true.

The State of IL has already granted $200,000 for this and by the looks of it - this very well might emerge as the third major EDM festival in US, along side WMC and Love Parade (sorry DEMF).

Discuss.
