Okay, here's where I vent, but I'll keep it to a short calm vent!
First off, today's my birthday... and 24 is not old!! ;)
My first party since I moved to B.C., and how awesome is it that it's on my b-day. It's been 4 months and totally looking forward to having a great time. What happens???
CANCELLED!!:whip: ... or should I say postponed! :rolleyes:
Not too pissed off, I understand that goes wrong from time to time... but always when I'm looking forward to it the most! First b-day away from home, looking to hear some kickass tunes... for a change from that Top 40 Choda Licking I hear everynight at the bar.
Why oh why! Does this happen often to parties in Kelowna? or B.C.? We're looking to come to Vancouver sometime in Feb to see the first big name DJ that's brought over... what are the chances of this happening then too?
Need some info on what it's like to party in B.C. Who can help??? |

but hey, theres gonna be tons of other big parties coming your way, theres gonna be tons more of YOUR bdays coming and your anniversaries away from home.
so cheer up, go down to 7 alexander, have an overpriced beer, you deserved it ;) (so ok they play way too much house, but at least they refrain from top 40 shiat) |

were you going to go to a party in kelowna or something... cause if this is the party i'm thinking of that was "postponed"
one of the headliners is one if my best friends... he's out there working at one of the radio stations and sent a demo to the promoter, who added him last minute as a headliner...
i just talked to him the other day, and he was choked that the party was on hold... he was looking forward to laying down some phat beats and rocking the crowd... and unfortunatly he'll be coming back to calgary in a couple of weeks, so if it isn't happening by then, he'll have to cancel on them :(
anywho, that's my story for the day... i think i'll shut up now :) |

Yeah, I was going to party in Kelowna, so it was most likely the same party! They don't seem to throw too many.
What is your friends name? His DJ name? I haven't heard of one DJ in this lineup.
The party was postponed until this friday, I'd like to go but I have to work at 8am Saturday... hhhhmmmm... suddenly I'm not feeling all that great... :sadgreen: |

if there is a DJ named B-Boogie or DEcks, then go and check him out
some great funky house, but he tends to mix in everything from breaks to hard house and trance |
