Don't they win one like every other year? The other duo that wins all the time is The Crystal Method. :rolleyes: The Grammys are a joke.
Oh and CBS and MTV are Viacom related, so yes the Grammys do have a connection to MTV. |

Well then you can say that LOST is a Disney show since they own ABC.
There's no connection to MTV except for the fact that the channel is owned by Viacom who also happens to own CBS. That's not much to go on, I'm afraid. The fact of the matter is the Grammys themselves (the show) really has NOTHING to do with MTV. |

Pretty much. They are really lazy when it comes to nominating electronic albums/tracks. Or maybe not so much lazy, they just seem to only nominate popular artists. This goes for all categories more or less. |

The Grammies are notorious for being woefully ignorant of music trends, choosing only to reward people who've knuckledragged around the industry for years. Hence: Mariah Carey and Kanye West. Are their records good? ...No. But they're well-known names, and the Grammies only likes well-known names.
I imagine the selection for the "electronica/dance" category conversation went something like this:
"So, who do we nominate for best dance album?"
"Did Crystal Method release a record this year?"
"No."
"Dammit. Howabout Moby?"
"No."
"Well, we gotta choose someone."
"The Chemical Brothers released something."
"Good. Perfect. We'll give the award to them. But what other nominees can we put on the ballot? Hey, Daft Punk released a record."
"Have you actually listened to it?"
"No, but they're a popular electronica group, so put them on the list."
"Their album sucks, though."
"Who cares. It's Daft Punk. They're a big name, so it must be good. Fatboy Slim released a record too. Put that on the list. Ummm...who else?"
"Look! Says here Kraftwerk released something!"
"That's just a live show."
"Doesn't matter. Like anyone's paying attention. Let's also throw in one of those rocktronica bands to show the young folk we're all hip to their scene, but the group won't win. That's more than enough nominees. Give the award to the Chemical Brothers and let's call it a day. Come on already, this is taking too long." |

I dont care,all these people are stupid MTV people and all music contests are MTV contests
MTV=people\org. who dont care about\love EDM or music in general,its all about the shows and the booty shaking for them. |

It's just for the pricks out there that think "Wow, it has won a grammy award! When it has a grammy it must be good stuff, because my 31337 gangsta rap album has also a grammy! And the top stars too! I will buy it and listen to it because only good albums get grammys!"
m0f0s ... did you ever see some real promising artist, that has talent and is NOT MANAGED BY THESE POWERMONGERS OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY winning a grammy? It's all set up. No matter who'll win the grammy, industry always wins :whip: |
