i just picked up Grand Theft Auto for the PSP and it has a solid mix with classic tunes from 1997 (the game takes place in 1997). one track i really liked was the Armand Van Helden remix of Spin Spin Sugar. i was wondering who did the vocal work for this song. i looked at discogs.com and really couldnt find anything. i hope someone here can help.

I'm pretty certain the Sneaker Pimps vocalist was Kelli Ali, the same girl who featured on Satoshi Tomiie's Love In Traffic.

Awesome vocals

Gat Damn, I remember partying to that track back in 97!

Sick track!

It's a shame the pimps sort of faded away before they could really kick the out of everyone...

armand did it good here, it wasn't dark as the title said by that bassline was dirty. very good work by armand. he also practicly invented uk garage with his remix of spin spin sugar & his tori amos remix. now if that is a good thing or not i have no idea.

nah, the thing with sneaker pimps was after kelli ali left to go solo, they went very boring & stale, it was like they wanted to be the us version of portishead.

the dark and dirty gritty bassline.....still sends shivers down my spine...

Kelli Ali was the vocalist, then she got smart and went solo and The Sneaker Pimps went boring...

that tracklist is pretty damn good....

6. DeLacy - Hideaway (Deep Dish Vocal Remix)
7. Sneaker Pimps - Spin Spin Sugar (Armand's Dark Garage Mix)
8. Jaydee - Plastic Dreams
9. Ron Trent - Altered States
11. Slam - Positive Education

facking classics....espcially altered states and plastic dreams.
