oh, and about the whole all ages thing... whats with the docks man... 90% of their events are all ages :whip:

That is up to the promoter , we do not host our own events, they are all promoter driven

ah i see, i see.

i wish more promoters made these wicked events at the docks 19+
but i guess by making it all ages they have a bigger market... can't really blame them...

unfortunately the jungle/drum&bass scene relies heavily on the under 19 population to stay alive.. unless you're THEORY in which they too even struggle sometimes.. i dunno who you can really fault for this, but it always seems to me that they don't do enough to evolve drum & bass sound in TO to make it appeal to a much older audience. mind you they are trying with the likes of ReFound and what not, but it's going to be an uphill battle that's forsure, and it'll take some time..

oh yea, definitely.

there just isn't enough suppost for dnb from the older crowd. it definitely needs people with dedication to push the genre forward in toronto.

but it seems like most people find the uphill battle not one worth fighting.
