[MEL] preSSure (there back..) @ Playpen -- March 10

aL_mAc
One of Melbourne's best club nights is back and ready to roll into 2006. We've secured a new venue and now have 2 rooms to party out in. The line up is larger than a scary Hawaiian, so lets make this one night that you'll definately remember... depending on your state at the end of course! Residents Andi Red, Alex McKenzie, Drew K, Sean Quinn, Jono Fernandez, along with special guest Rollin Connection and for the first time in a while Mortar & Pestle will be making an extra special appearance to shred the floors.

Special Guests Rollin Connection
Collectively, Rollin Connection have supported Australia's best DJ's within Melbourne as well as supported a wide range of some of the world’s best DJ’s - displaying their flexibility including Jonathan Lisle, James Holden, James Zabiela, Phil K, Habersham & Numinous, and Soul Of Man, as well as playing with almost every major respected progressive/breaks DJ within Melbourne. They like it dark and dirty so they'll be a perfect fit to cap off the night.

Mortar & Pestle
Consisting of Dan Mangan & Keltec the boys have been larging it recently with one of the "choons" of 2005 in "it'sachickthing". Remixed by Luke Chable and played around the globe this monster of a track has well and truly secured their name internationally. Now with releases on 3Beat Breaks, Phase Recordings, and Heavy Rotation, they've been pushing the envelope and have some amazing stuff ready for preSSure.

Jono Fernandez [Live]
With new collaborations featuring Meat Katie, and others this man has been pulling out intense live shows around Australia. More recently being featured at Renaissance, and other major parties Jono's currently setting the standard for Live sets in Melbourne.

Sean Quinn
Sean's got some great new remixes under way the first of which is a collaboration with Dan Mangan recently released on Dave Seaman's Renaissance compilation, and second with the man like, Andy Page, which has just been signed to Audio Therapy! We all know and love Quinny's solid deliverance to floors it's just intrenched in his sets and will without doubt get your booty movin'.

Some more great news this year is that we have another room to add which we'll be featuring some more acts yet to be announced. So keep your ears peeled to "Space Between The Beats" on KissFM between 12-2pm and check our website for more info in the coming weeks.
