I went to Coachella 2002 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio. My advice to those who go this year is: drink lots of fluids! That place is big, flat, sunny, and hot. But it sure is fun! Reminded me of Rolling Stone Magazine's "Go Bang!" fesitival in the 90's.
If I'd go I'd have to see:
Depeche Mode (the most awsome band on the planet)
Daft Punk!!! (they're not on your list, but they are on the flyer)
Carl Cox (the best DJ in the world -- or at least 2nd best)
Tosca (Oooh! That would be a special treat for me! Tosca makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!)
Derrick Carter (old skool goodness!)
Audio Bullys might do a pretty good live act
Colette (maybe...)
Joey Beltram (the godfather of minimalistic Detroit Techno for those that don't know...)
Hybrid is usually pretty good
Infusion isn't all that bad either
Coldcut is the shizznit! (You've probably heard them, you just don't know it...)
Little Louie Vega rocks the house!
Kaskade if i'm feeling trippy
Jaime Lidell (Oh yeah! I'd die! I 've never seen Jamie live and and absolutely love his 'dirty but soulful' style!)
Jazzanova for lunch maybe?
But I'd probably end up in jail for throwing something at Gabriel & Dresden... :stongue: |
