How can you not be impressed by that?
He is a DJ to the truest sense of the word. It saddens me to think, in the EDM world, people's impression of a DJ is one who mixes in and out of records; A task a $240 program named DJ Traktor can easily do minus the Jesus poses. By scratching, beat juggling, and applying effects, Phil and other true DJs are essentially creating their own music and consequentially, own style. No matter how much one dislikes the music, at the very least be impressed by his wide skill set and pioneering of areas few have been. |
