Ambush & Transit come together for one magical night featuring the largest culmination of Drum and Bass talent under one roof in Atlanta since April of 2000!
What began as groundbreaking album concept in 1998 which acknowledged the many different countries and cities that had embraced the drum & bass sound has snowballed into one of the most well know and respected worldwide D&B event brands.
Since its conception WODB has touched down all over the globe, in countries such as UK, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Japan, Poland, Italy, Estonia, and many more. Its home however is now firmly rooted at the Miami WMC where it has been a regular fixture since 1998.
On Monday March 15th 1998 Formation Records, Groove Connection and Most Wanted Entertainment showcased a collective of the best DJ’s and Artists in the drum & bass scene, with an attendance of over 1500. The following year on Monday March 27th the collaboration did again but this time bigger and better, with an attendance of over 2000 party people.
Since 1998 the WODB event @ WMC has continued to grow in stature and is now widely acknowledged as the drum & bass party at the conference with djs from the full spectrum of the music climbing over each other to get a set at this prestigious event.

Ask anyone in drum'n'bass what first inspired them to make music and Grooverider's name is sure to crop up. Not only has he notched up an incredible twelve years behind the decks, DJing everywhere from dingy illegal warehouse parties to huge outdoor festivals, but his legendary radio shows with longtime companion Fabio (first for Kiss FM and now Radio One FM) helped spread the gospel of drum'n'bass further and further afield. As resident at seminal London night Rage throughout its four year stint at Heaven, he personally oversaw dance music's evolution from acid house to techno and finally drum'n'bass. In the close-knit social circles of drum & bass, the mention of his name, which reads like a definition n of the art of dj-ing, inspires nothing but the utmost respect and admiration due to the fact that he has held a torch aloft for this music for so many years.
PENDULUM

PENDULUM formed mid 2002 by three musicians from Western Australia with similar visions and musical backgrounds. Their mission was to pull together their production resources, ideas and influences from various styles of music to create a new sound that they felt was missing from dance music. Intelligent dance floor music: that could tear a dance floor apart at the seams yet still have a deep long-lasting impact on enthusiasts.
Thier debut 'Vault', which won DnB 'Tune of the Year', this Austrailian trio have since gone onto take the titles of 'Best Breakthrough Producers', 'Best Producers', and again 'Tune of the Year' in 2004 with the mighty 'Another Planet' - an anthem of such epic proportions.
In 2005 Pendulum stormed the charts, and was welcomed onto the decks of Radio One, playing thier distinctive sounds to the masses of the WorldWide airwaves. This essential mix has been deemed by many, the most influential and ground breaking essential mix of the year. Also in 05', Pendulum dropped their eagerly anticipated debut album 'Hold Your Colour' on Breakbeat Kaos. Featuring 13 bold and diverse tracks the album combines the trio's groundbreaking blend of heavy electronic funk, never-before-heard innovative sounds and 'real' musical elements to produce a monster, destined to break down genres and smash up charts worldwide.

DJ FRESH

It is rare to spend thirty minutes on a drum and bass dancefloor and not hear a fresh production.
Knowledge Magazine's reigning best producer in the World, two years running. Best known as the front man of now defunct smash DnB band, Bad Company, with whom he won the same accolade the year previous, alongside DnB Arena's accolade of The Best DnB Tune of All Time with 'The Nine'. DJ Fresh was also voted high up in DnB Arena's Top 10 DJs.
Dan Fresh is yet to produce a tune that fails to reach Number 1 in Radio 1's DnB Chart, and has enjoyed top 20 success with 'More Fire', 'Barcelona', (executive producer) and top 10 with 'Miracles' (Pet Shop Boys). He also maintains a hectic DJ timetable, touring Europe and the USA with Andy C, Grooverider and Dieselboy, and regularly plays at the main dance festivals in europe to crowds of up to 20,000 (Exit Festival, Serbia). Responsible for signing Pendulum to the Breakbeat Kaos imprint he co owns with Adam F, he also takes a vested interest in the internet. The site he founded and co-runs (www.dogsonacid.com) is the largest dance music message board in the world, with over 40 thousand members and over 80 million hits per month.
Fresh has worked alongside the the Pet Shop Boys, Adam F, DJ Shadow, Apollo 440, Grooverider and Andy C to name but a few. His debut, 'Escape from Planet Monday' is expected early next year (let us know if you are interested in featuring as a stop on the tour)

ZINC

DJ Zinc has been a force to be reckoned with in the D&B scene since the early 90s, with a residency at Desire, elbow-rubbing at London pirate radio station Impact FM, and then finally, chart-topping singles, "Super Sharp Shooter" and "Six Million Ways." A longtime capo for the True Playaz label, Zinc explains the label's longevity. "The main distinction within the music would be that we've kept the breaks prominent while a lot of other people have got on with that two step stuff or whatever. I just think that primarily we've remained consistent because Hype is so critical and won't let anything that he feels is substandard go out."
DJ SS

One of the UK's finest DJ/Producers and one of the founders of Formation Records, DJ SS aka Leroy Small is an original breakbeat pioneer who has made an immense contribution to today's drum & bass sound.
SS is one of the very select DJ / Producers who has been there right from the start, due to the hard work and dedication that he puts into his music. When the hardcore scene exploded SS was there and hasn't looked back.
Today SS spends most of his time producing in the studio and travelling all over the world to DJ. His travels have taken him throughout Europe, Australia, Canada, the United States of America and Japan

Sharpness' tour schedule competes with many of the busiest djs , taking him to all points east to west, north to south and everywhere in between. Sharpness will be one of the 3 masters of cerimonies on the mic at WODB Atlanta.

This wicked warehouse like venue sits atop Earthlink live and has a 1,000 person capacity, 4 full liquor bars, full High End intellegent lighting, a massive EAW soundsystem, a built in stage and 2 rooms of sound. | I caught The World of Dn'b 2 years ago during WMC @ The Maze? Great ing show...Andy C just destroyed the place....unfortunate that you guys couldn't get Kila Kela...I would've loved to see him again. I know of several people making the trip down for this one...should be a great show. |
