:P ..... being over here in london, the NHS has to be the crappiest health service there is!....i know its free and all .....but fARK!!
u have to make appointments the day u are ill... from that morning (of course in a restricted time period of 30mins!) while u try to get thru! and then when u do get thru (if ur lucky) they tell u 'no more appointments madam, the next one is'....(in 2-3 days!) or when u turn up for your 1pm appointment' - you are still sittin in the poxy lil waiting room that smells of wee and cigarette smoke (dont ask!) for the past 1-2hrs or so!!!!!!!!!
egh! end rant!
:whip:
as u can see, im slowly getting fed up of this place!!!!! :P
cant wait to be back (soon :) ) |

You're welcome. For the record I had an insect bite on my neck and had swollen to the point where I couldn't breathe. Dr had to throw a tube down my throat while he administered antihistamines. So if that wasn't an emergency then I'm sorry.
Ironically the Doctor also said if I had just seen a GP when the symptoms had first appeared it wouldn't have got this bad. Medicare's failure to support primary medical services is costing them significantly more. |
