as with everyone else, only managed to catch a little of ferry. think i caught 'fire' and the beginnings of "who's knocking" in which case i scrambled into the vaccine room....but only to catch whoever was on play it 5 minutes later. haha...so onto my thoughts on the vaccine room.
simply awesome. RvG took a little time to get started as I was waiting for the more techy stuff. cold storage, filth, then it all went crazy from there. :D
but major props to dj viceroy...been a long time since i was really impressed with a DJ and you did well. great mix of stuff, electro-ish and tech with trance and a bit of a harder edge which is exactly how i like my trance. started with 'red blue purple' although the reverse effect was a little weird after it dragged on. :p but seriously, your set was top notch. mashup of fred baker - total blackout and universal nation, martin roth mix of eastern sea, and lots of other upfront stuff id'ed with the help of the others here. but all in all, a really great set. will def try to make it to more vaccine nights.
great meeting the TA lot again and a couple new faces (isoterra and stace) for once. :D no worries about being quiet...i'm never the talkative one. :p
PS: the queue was a little screwy...pre-paid line got in before everyone else on the guestlist (vaccine or no vaccine). from the looks of it, so did the pay at the door line. i guess we all know what the priority was that night tho. |

good to see everyone again, and some for the first time like isoterra and the rumoured stace :clown:
ferry was....a disappointment. well, this may be because most of the time i wasn't in the room, but whenever i was in there, he wasn't playing anything that demanded my attention. plus, the key factor being the room was FOOKIN freezing. i thot i was going to get pneumonia...and i'm actually quite surprised that i'm not sick.
the first half of ronald's set was iffy. it was a lot fluffier than i thot it would be, and the flow of the songs was a bit off sometimes...BUT he played proceed! and that, made it ALL worth it. i've been dying to hear that for years, and i finally did, from kid vicious himself :tongue2
and then viceroy...all i can say is that kid can f*ckin' dj. well done. |

cheers for your comments guys and gals, and glad you all had a wicked time in there
the reverse effect wasnt meant to drag on that long but the switch got stuck on reverse so had to mix out then turn off the cdj and reset it lol most people didnt notice it but hey hum wasnt the best start to a set hehe (i know a bad workman blames their tools but im telling the truth hehe!!)
thanks all you lot for coming down to support, as already said all the djs played wicked sets and im glad we can offer an alternative trance room once a month to the gallery and trance faithful |

haha wow, well played if that was the case.. you got out of it credibly well. at least, i can't remember it sounding too dodgy.. mind i was too off my face to even notice it was in reverse to begin with, so that probably doesn't say much :p
