Generally speaking, East London and some North London can be pretty rough. I don't know your budget, but you're going to be paying through the nose if you want somewhere decent.
Nice (aka relatively unifested Chav areas) areas include Richmond, Knightsbridge, Kensington, and Greater Southwest London (so Wimbledon, New Malden, Kingston).
Where and why are you thinking of getting an apartment in London? And how much have you got and are you going to be renting?! |

| Why iv got to go to london: Uni and to work closer with my label. How much i got to spend: Not as much as i like. Id prefer to start out with just a smaller studi maby about a grand a month until i figure out how much i really have to spend and what im looking for. |

Then Greater London is your best bet. Good connections to London and not miles away from anywhere at all.
Richmond or Kingston I'd say. |

London is a very big place. Any nasty areas are very small and localised, generally the nearer the centre the nicer but also the more expensive. Whereabouts are you going to be working as that should be a bug deciding factor in where you live |
