The SETA New Year's Resolution Thread
Mr. Pink
Ok, so everyone has a bad habit...

...everyone has something they would like to learn, improve on, or quit....

that is what a New Year's Resolution is all about!!

So tell me SETA's,

....what are your New Year Resolutions?:thepirate

One of mine is:

I will no longer live under the servitude of my emotions.

that and to stop smoking so much herb.

so what are yours?:conf:

:tongue2
magikb
I'm going to stop partying (with a few exceptions to the year) and start getting some bills paid off and save for my trip to Amsterdam and Ibiza instead of partying it all away like I did this year! :p
KristineClub
Mine is to clean the house and keep it clean! Also, by the end of the year, I want to find a better paying job with benefits.
gypsygirl
get laid more............

and i know i'm not really an SETA but i'm from here so...........

....be more patient, more laid back, party less(yeah right), less type A and save more $$$$$$

does that make me sound crazy? good

okay, so probably not gonna happen, like most, but it's a good idea
zenperson
Mine is to stop finding excuses to not get done (as in clubbing and partying and spending all my money and spare time on stuff that leads to nothing)... and---

1)Launch my own music career as a piano and keyboard player
2)See this Electronica record label I'm developing with a friend actually see the light of day.

Yes, this WILL be the year I make it all happen ;)
ATL_Trancer
hmmm, well, i guess a few things?

#1 - get into grad school! application deadline is coming up, i need to get off my ass haha

#2 - like everyone else too, i need to STOP PARTYING SO MUCH (at least at clubs)!! i wanna get back for another mind-blowing WMC, and hopefully europe again this summer, so until atlanta starts getting some new names, im sick of blowing all my money at the same ole clubs seeing the same ole djs :( of coure going along with less partying, means less *illicit substances* haha (i know i say this alot, but i mean it this time! .... really!! ) :thepirate

#3 - see my friends more often... i know its only been the past couple of weeks, but i cant let this go on forever!! (most of you know what im talking about :p )

#4 - im with gyspygirl on this one, more sex is always good!!

I only got one... THE FAT KID IS GOING TO GET LAID ONCE A MONTH.... I know it is a lofty goal but even if I have to get Greg to get me a college park hooker to get the job done (or even if I have to trade blow for sexual favors) I am dedicated to the goal.

Plus quitting smoking would be nice, getting back into shape, saving money, getting my career back off the ground and being a better person would help get me laid and probably be good goals for the next year too. :tongue2
money_penny
i'm gonna go to school.

and lose about 10 pounds.
monkchichi
while getting laid would be a nice New Year's resolution I think a better choice for me (if that's possible lol) would be to think clearly with my head. both of them, rather than other areas. and to succumb less to the temptations and desires that I put in front of myself or in my head. either of them.
mistiso
Although statistically, these things only last (on avg.) 2 months anyway....

1) Stop smoking - I really haven't been at it that long, and can easily go for days without it. It's just hard not to when you're out partying and such.

2) Hang out with some TA's more in a non-party environment.

3) Try and make it to Ultra - I have Mexico in Jan, Hawaii in Feb, so I might as well add Miami in March :tongue2

4) Further development of my mixing / production skills.

scamsel
mine is to take the funniest TA title from mario. although everyone over 25 already knows what the real deal is.

seriously though, i wanna be nicer, less procrastinating, eat better, wake up for work.
