Coming to Germany and need advice on what the best club are to check out

UFpike
Hi everyone! I wanted to know what are some of the must-see clubs if you are visiting Germany. Location is of no concern, whether the club is in Munich, Hannover, Berlin, Hessen....wherever, what some the best clubs to check out in Germany?

Danke :D

I think defining the "best" club is most of the times driven by an event instead of the club itself.

So Edelfettwerk in Hamburg on 2006-02-18 is really worth a visit - see: http://www2.tranceaddict.com/forums...threadid=310338
In the beginning of the year we had Ferry Corsten, Kyau vs. Albert and Perry O Neil there, too.

Or the Hühnerposten in Hamburg is also nice once in while. In the last months we had Bad Boy Bill, Markus Schulz and Heller&Enkie spinning there. But there are also completely different and non-edm events taking place there from time to time.

So really there arent that many clubs that always have EDM events on any given weekend in which the place is always packed out and giving a good vibe? I understand by what you mean on defining by the event rather than the club itself but it would seem that in Germany of all places there are at least some clubs that have not specifically internationally known/ world reknown DJs week in and week out but something that is for National DJs that arent globe trotters just yet who are well known in Germany itself on the weekends.

I guess I should have said I was not looking for parties like Spundae, Ultra, WMC, Trance Energy but instead places that really promote the local, state and national DJs that maybe an international travler would liek to check out. Danke!!

(I take it you live in Hamburg?)

Well Hamburg has some clubs, that have EDM all the time, such as Click: http://www.click808.com/ which serves a lot of more special edm genres, such as minimal (house) or techno. http://www.click808.com/
Or if you prefer silly hardstyle and hands-up go for the Front, where the Tunnel Trance Force Partys take place. Both of them are locally quite well known.

Furthermore - Although I've never been there - I think really worth also checking out are the Cocoon Club http://www.cocoonclub.net (Sven Väths Club) and U60311 http://www.u60311.net/ both in Frankfurt.

And the Tresor in Berlin has been such a remarkable and even more than locally famous Club, but it's closed down now.

That's so true!

I recommend you Frankfurt (am Main). 2 Clubs should be checked out: Cocoon and U60311. Both are more techy on fridays and more housy on a Saturday.

If you ever consider to come to Stuttgart (south of Germany, 'close' to Frankfurt, 1h by train) do not hesitate to contact me privately! Always on a Saturday there is a pretty good trance party in town, and some commercial trance (sunshine-live-like) on a Friday in the area.
