i don't feel like driving in the snow today thanks.
my back hurts from working there yesterday.
i just coughed a lung up and i need at least an hour to get it back in.
i don't think you want me infecting your clients and customers with what i've got... bronchitis.
i'm taking my sister to an meeting with icbc because her car's wrecked and her back is messed up.. unless you guys wanna pay for a taxi for her?
haha. most of the worst ones were at a job i didn't care about anyways. |

For the record guys, when calling in 'sick,' honesty IS NOT the best policy. It went something like this.....
Freind: Hi this is Jeff's friend calling.... It was our friends birthday last night and, well, Jeff is not currently moving. He kept on saying how he had to work, but I made sure the liquor never stopped flowing.
Boss: I understand. It happens.
He understood, but his boss didnt. Its a good thing I hated that job and was going to give 2 weeks notice the following monday anyways.. :D |

I've used every excuse under the sun I think... pets/family members dieing, Sick, bassment flooding, slashed tireS (more than one so you can't just toss on the spare), Gotta drive this person there, I;ve called work from the Ski Hill on a Powder Day.. I've never been questioned really either..
I know that DannyO used the excuse that he fell out of bed....And it worked.. :haha: |

the dumbest one i used was 'i twisted my ankle' and then i had to come to work the next day. i didnt think that a twisted ankle might take more than a day to heal so i had to pretend i was limbing for a week :stongue: |
