Very tempted by Bournemouth. May ask the missus if she'd like a weekend by the seaside. ;) |
.... or now it looks like a double header. Friday at Turnmills ('cos I'm playing last set in room 3 :eyespop: ) and then a nice drive down to Bournemouth the following night. Bring it on! :D |

hmmmmmm that's a bit of an arse. Southampton Airport is quite nearby (40mins on the train) not sure whether it flys to the Dam tho. I notice the prices are extremely cheap for flying and if you did come over on the friday you could go to Slinky the night before, free entry with BIC ticket. Will be an absolutely awesome night. I'll post some pics of the venue if your interested. |
Where does it say that you get free entry on the Friday to Slinky? I'd definately be tempted by that too, as I'll probably be with people from all over the country, we might as well make a proper weekend of it. I've never got round to going to the Opera House so it could be the perfect opportunity.
Are Slinky and the BIC close to each other? Is there an ideal hotel nearby too, that will tolerate a few wide eyed ravers from the Friday to the Sunday/Monday? I know it's ages away but as the cubs/scouts may say......."Always be prepared"!! |
