The entire season was complete garbage, but the finale, was so incredibly absurd that I won't be a return viewer. I hope they cancel it and put something better on... :mad:
I had high hopes that salvation would come in the finale, but alas...only let down. :( |

the season did kinda suck, but i liked the finale, and i think it will keep me on board for a little while longer.
So quentin is a hermaphrodite? (Funny i just finished reading a book about a person with 5-alpha reductase deficiency) that was a surprise, but unfortunately everyone had him pegged as the carver a while ago... i liked that they took what you expected and twisted it around a LOT.... and i always thought kit's face looked waay plastic... incest... ewwwwwww
as for matt... i really hated his guts for the last 2 seasons and liked how he came full circle... but we all know hes still an evil bastard down deep for telling his friend to kill arylls dad... but then again he totally deserved it and they have the self-defense alibi so well see what happens
julia... baby... we shall see....im predicting a miscarriage that will solidify her and sean getting back together
and i hope kimber gets all the therapy she needs gets back to normal... well maybe a little less superficial, but still..

Ya so here are my thoughts:
I did not like this season as much. It was not as interesting as the first two seasons to my. First off, I think they got a new writing staff this year then they had in the first two. The story lines were lacking. When I first started watching the show (When it first came out) it was about two plastic surgeons that lived a playboy life. Things were believable. Granted they were over the top but believable. If any one knows what the underworld of the drug life can be like it is some of us! But this season the writing totally changed. Story lines would pick up in one episode and then drop off again for three weeks. Planes crashed and the only doctors that came were on ER doc and two plastic surgeons?!? Ya right. The red cross would have been there and doctors would have come out of the wood work. Plus, you do not send a plastic surgeon to do triage. That is like sending a psychiatrist to do brain surgery! Sure they went to med school but they do not know how to do that crap and you would never let them! It was just too over the top. On top of that you bring Julia's mother back after you think she is dead but then no meanton of her in the last two episodes. No mention for how Julia is dealing with hilling a woman with her own hands. No PTSD about doing it. You have Matt basically watch a guy get shot in the head and he shows up to dinner like nothing happened. "Oh I have had a hard day" Ya no . I realize that they might carry that story line into the next season but it just seems far fetched that you would be forced to cut off a tranie's penis, be held at gun point, watch a guy get shot and your first thought is to get home for dinner?!? What did they do with the guy did they kill him and bury him? Kill him and call the cops and call it self defense? Not really kill him but just scare the crap out of him by shooting him in the arm.... The send of season two had me wanting a season three. The end to season three makes me want to go back and watch season one to remember why I liked the show!
I did like the writting and the story line about how Matt and Cherry fixed things, how Kimber learned a lesson from all this, How Christian and Sean realized their bond and friendship, and about Julia and the baby. You know there is something wrong with the baby but they did not have to tell you every detail. I think that started to get back to the true nature of the show. It does give me hope for the future of it. (Now we will wait to see if the kid comes out like a monster with 12 arms or something far fetched like that, but there is hope for now!)
