New releases

I was wondering where you guys hear about new stuff that is coming out in the uk, 'cause i know this site is good for hearing about stuff in holland and the u.s, and all over the place but not for the uk. Do any of you have any contacts in any record labels. I know one guy from liquid in manchester and he gets me a few promo's , recently the jimmy van m track that featured on sasha and digweed - communicate, but find it very hard hearing new, not commercial, stuff. Any suggestions ??

Peace
Im in the same position as u man, this site IS great for US, Canadian, and continental european trance, but there isnt much in the way of UK stuff. Unless u got links to labels and release things (you can find new releases on http://www.hardtofindrecords.com ) then the best you'll get is going into the vinyl shop and just looking. If you ask nicely you can get the weekly release lists from them too!

Peace
i got a couple of friends in amsterdam and out in the far east who send me latest release sheets, and if ya just pay attention to like the trance websites like trancegate and stuff, u'll find the latest releases..
But i do believe that releases come out faster in the UK for trance than in the US.. so its all good..
umm if ur REALLY desperate, check out www.djpromo.com
www.promoonly.com
to get sent stuff..
but i don't recommend that.. mainly coz they send a lot of .. and u get about 1/50 records which are semi-decent
umm neither of them links work Infinity. Never mind. If they are as as you say they are then there's No Need!

www.juno.co.uk is a good source for UK release stuff, otherwise have a look at the radio1 website under the dance playlists and see what the likes of Jules, Tong and Seb are playing. Years ago they used to have a streaming file of the set aswell as the playlist..heaven!!

Matt
