...and I'm blown away as to how poorly this event went off! I'm sure glad we didn't have this sorta mishap happen here! I've read through about 5 pages now, and there's NOT 1 decent review of Tiesto!
Appenrently they sold 2000 tickets for club that had a capacity of 800 :conf: :eyes: :conf:
They had to kick out about 500 people, and people were even complaining that Tiesto played HARDER than normal :conf: I'd ING KILL to hear Tiesto play a harder than normal set. KILL :whip:
Plus he only played for 4 hours instead of 6. WOW. I don't see how Montreal gets gigs like this, and all this goes wrong. I feel sooooo bad for them... even though they atleast got to see him :p |

i heard a good review from a friend on msn. she told me she got within 10 feet from tiesto.

funny thing is most of the people who went were from the US and Toronto...Tiesto sucks period...all the times i have seen him have been disapointing especially considering his VERY lackluster mixing skillz for a number 1 dj.We get events like this because of our growing reputation and many up and coming talents from the city.Montreal is underground and house oriented.Godskitchen entertainment has shot themselves in the foot for blatently and knowingly ripping off the public.Then again anyone who pays 150$ to see a guy play a record maybe deserves it.The scene is not about glowsticks and waving your arms.Its about dancing and having a good time.Dancing to Tiesto is like masterbating with a cheese grater...I hope you guys get him and he avoids mtl forever.

ahh the thing about tiesto is you either like him or lump him, well I like him but I don't consider him to be the god of a dj's I like some of his and well maybe I will get to see a live set and be the judge hehehe

right now I'm loving Tiesto @ Ibiza some good stuff to workout to:D
haha and it's a popularity contest who said he had to have great mixing skills to be #1 :p |

then you are not one of the nutcases who will fly half way across the world and spend 150 to see a guy SPIN RECORDS THAT MOSTLY ARENT HIS.Support your scene by supporting a local dj...
