Anyone that has seen or heard John Askew in action know you’re not a fellow vocal trance lover, not one of the biggest anyway. But surely there must be one vocal dance tune you’ve fell for?
It is a bit of a misconception that I hate all vocals in trance. This isn’t true. It’s just unfortunate that 99% of them are cheesy meaningless - I my view. Motorcycle “When the Rush comes” for me is a perfect vocal track that I would gladly play again and again. It’s just that 90% of the vocals that you hear in trance mean absolutely nothing to me and have no reflection on my life. “Our love is like foot steps in the Snow, baby”. I mean, what exactly does that mean? Have you ever been in love and felt that your relationship resembled the imprints that your feet made in snow???!!!!
