I wouldn't go that far ;) I was lucky enough to be at that gig but yeah, dunno about set of the year...
I personally cannot get into his sound myself (which is why i probably don't think it's set of the year ;)) I just find that he plays sets made up of a lot of fillers, rather than 'progressing' through to anything. His sets (what i have heard anyway) have all the properties of much of the progressive that turned people away from the sound around 2001 (one dimensional, single geared etc), they're just a little more housey, and with a few 'cooler' samples (like the stuff he does with Blue Monday on Balance).
I would really ne interested to see if anyone agrees with me after Saturday. I can't go as i will be at earthcore, but yeah lemme know what you think :) |

un ID'd track is DJ Nick & Danny Chatelain - Con Tacto (Apparently its Dave Ferrero's weekend mix but ive heard the exact same track labelled as the original and its the same)
and track 8 is actually called Die Elfen - Ghia ;)
