well, in the NFSU series it was often faster and more efficient to ignore braking and simply ride the car around the corner on the 'walls' of the track. whereas in TOCA walls slow you down and/or spin you around as well as deliver damage to your car. |
when you said ride the corner i thought you meant no need for braking :p the first 2 toca games are much better in this respect, toca3 is a bit more arcadey. did you ever play the swedish touring car game? that was nuts, i only had the demo but i bought the ea sports v8 game which was based on the same engine. pretty tough. but still fun :D |

nah, this is the first racing game ive really gotten into since colin 3. coz NFS went down the toiler after the porsche instalment- i have no interest in hooking up some fully sick spinners to my car ;) |

| In some instances, riding the corner does prove beneficial. Take Takumi for example, his AE86 gutter drifts are proof! :) |

TOCA and V8 supercars were awesome car games.
i loved them.
i'm hanging for something similar on the xbox 360. PGR3 is good, but still a bit arcadey. |
