ok i bought fifa 06 on playstation 2 the other day...it is suprisingly very frustrating...
i have it on semi pro difficulty, after about 7 games i have won once from a penalty shootout and scored i think 2 goals in normal play. whenever i get the ball and start moving forward the defenders instantly get it off me, yet when i am defending they all hang back and let the strikers go, whenever i am close and i press tackle i get the ball about 2 goes in 10. it is pretty annoying... :( |

philbs, im guessing the problem relates to you being crap and not the game :p just remember, just like real football- let the ball do the work. pass it around and keep possession til you see a nice opening to exploit. and keep practicing :) |

i think i'm too impatient :p
but i still don't get the tackling thing....when i press tackle i expect the player to tackle...the cpu literally runs circles around me... |
