Marco was great of course, vlado has some pictures coming. sound was not loud so it didnt sound too bad.
main room was well filled, but i had trouble selling tickets, as tikcet sales didnt go as well as it was purported i think.
angelo and vlad, attila, detn8r, salem and pal, but not many regulars. we gave salem and his buddy a ride b/c he was outta town. good to meet you guys..haha you guys are pretty intense.
company cheaped on lighting etc. but it wanst really a big problem because the haze was actaully really cool for techno/tech trance.
promo company:
somethign which is pretty important: if someone working for you with a tag is gonna blatantly deal, have him take off the tag or get someone not working for you to deal. I cannot emphasize more the huge risks one person can bring to an entire company and in extension, any company who might want to rent the venue for a similar purpose in the future.

there was definatley alot more, best i can do for the shape i was in.
Absolutely amazing set by the world's finest, pulling off mixes that i have yet to hear a dj pull off. Mixing with complete raw underground power. All of the board with all of the genres, excellent night. He basically destroyed that place, easily the best dj ive ever seen to date. I find it funny that it took him a grand total of 2 seconds to tweak that rig, and make it sound perfect. I was abit concerned with the sound prior, but he dealt with it, within seconds, total pro. Sweet night..........somewhat of a varied crowd there, 50 year olds with there families......etc...but whatever, it was a good vibe, everyone was going completely nutz.

ummm, thanks? lol You've seen me play one other show in like the last year and it was at your radio show without a half-decent monitor. Last night's set was okay, I got a lot of good feedback about it but I've played better.
Anyway, Marco was awesome. Props to Jon and the boys at Global Sound for a great show. I had a lot of fun working with you guys! see everyone at IN THE MIX! |
