Uruguay 2 - 0 Australia is a good score for us, anything more than that then we are doomed. If we score any goals then thats a bonus!
Because in the return leg you know how South americans play ( :p ) start falling over etc. etc. and wont let Aus. play their game.
We might have a chance since were under dogs but we gotta see on sunday. |

| australia needs to start playing world class - most teams play this way albeit 'dirty'. I just hope the scores are tight and the game is kept enjoyable. |

australia has to go to uruguay with a 4-5-1 formation
there is no reason at all to play 2 upfront, we have to go there and try and score in the first 10 mins, after that sit back and hit them on the counter.
In saying that i do think the uruguayan attack is far to quick and skillfull for our crappy defence, we will really miss craig moore
i predict
uruguay 2 - 1 australia
with a result like that i can see us getting the result we need back in sydney
if uruguay come out in the first 10 mins and score we are doomed, 70,000 psychopathic supporters behind them 1-0 up after 10 mins, could end up 3 or 4 by the end of the game, we have to keep them checked till at least half time, anything other than that will be a disaster

Uruguay is known as the dirtiest soccer team in the world, they hack, we need kevin muscat to give back a bit, im worried our team is not strong enuff to stand up to there dirtyness.

actually this will be the first sporting occasion in recent memory where ill be 100% behind australia. uruguay's dirty tricks with the flight schedules is a fvcking disgrace & FIFA shouldve kicked their arse. and hard. fvck them and their south american desperation for cheating & underhanded tactics. yes, i know soccer is rife with divers etc, but the s.americans are the worst of the lot. like (was it rivaldo, i forget their names) that got hit in the leg by the ball (its fvcing football cvnt) and dove to the ground grabbing his face in 2002?

no respect for uruguay. they made the game time at 9pm so Australia wouldnt be able to get a flight out, but ended up being dicked themselves. They got Belgian refs changed to Spanish refs. I hope Aus scores first in front of their home crowd!
