After Luke Chable’s triumphant return to Melburn at Private Function #32 it’s now full steam ahead as we power towards the end of yet another big year. As our city by the bay starts to hot up, we’ve decided to celebrate the impending summer with an action packed lineup of PF residents, along with undoubtedly the largest guest lineup we’ve managed to put together so far.
Where has the year gone we ask? We started to realize that there were quite a number of local guests that we’d been hoping to get into the PF console this year, but with 2005 slowly slipping through our fingertips we realized we were running out of time fast! So what better way to head into summer than with a bit of a versus session between our residents, a past guest with a few PF virgins thrown in for the sacrificing.
At Private Function #33, on Friday November 25th, joining Gavin Martin, Dean Millson and Steve May will be DJ Promo, Jules Plees, Andrew Dannaoui, Lister Cooray and Paulie C and we’ll be celebrating the entire ‘progressive’ spectrum from deep, to tribal, to techy to trancey.
Since moving across from the UK in 2004, DJ Promo has been continually pushing his brand of tribal sounds to the Melbourne massive through the very successful ‘The Drum is God’ parties. It’s been a while coming, but we’re looking forward to Promo bringing his sound to the PF massive. The same can be said for Mr Jules Plees (will the bit about us looking forward to having him that is). On the progressive to progressive trance tip, Jules has been steadily making tracks around Melbourne for a number of years now. Never scared to drop something different, Jules’ diversity will keep you on your toes. Earlier this year, Lister Cooray and Paulie C hosted their first ‘Vaccine’ party with Dean and Steve as guests. The boys rocked hard that night, so much so that we’ve been waiting to get them in at PF since. And joining all of these PF virgins will be Andrew Dannaoui, back again with his brand of deep-tribal-techy goodness.
Phew. What a list. And what a night it’s going to be!
