Nas are we both reading the same thread? maybe you didn't read the thread here ;)
I'm making 110% sense with what I said and invite anyone to dispute or debate it.. frankly I'm surprised no one said it earlier in the first 2 pages of posts. There is nothing personal been mentioned between he and I.. he has not said anythign to me at all.. and I sure won't be the one to take things down to the level of personal insults.
He did however on the first page lower himself to going completely off topic to make personal uncalled for insults to Pete/Alucard regarding what he said about his set. That is bull and this board would be a LOT better if there were more people around to say something when someone wants to do like that.. remember the I dealt with last week from somoene who couldn't debate without lowering it into a level of insulting me personally? Like come on, is your argument/debate about digi/vinyl so weak that you have to go "oh yeah well your set at this party SUCKED!" |

Sorry, I wasn't at doomsnight, I was in calgary playing.
The people you listed are the prime example of what's boring right now and geee, they play CDs!
LAMO.
If your are an audiophile Mark and you play CDs as a DJ that pretty much tells me you don't have any idea what you are really listening for between the two.
Sorry if you don't agree with that, but that's just reality.
Don't take offense to it, I just don't buy into the bull technology companies that push "DJ" products that are in the digital realm and are endorsed by "djs" translates into good for the music, the producers, the publishers, the party go-ers, the promoters and the DJs when the more digital gets accepted into the environment it seems the more "smelly" it becomes.

you are not making an ounce of sense. so basically when i record a slab of vinly and play it on a cd deck, it automatically becomes a boring track? or is it just a smelly track? or does the cd deck smell? you might be spending too much time playing at sweaty raves. |

I have always believed in proper manners, etiquette and being a pro,no matter what it is you r doing or trying to accomplish....thats why i dont like to see what am witnessing here right now. Problem is i know both u you guys..and your passion for the music and the local scene...i already had a little chat with kelly and didnt agree...with a few things.I just dont understand..why it comes down to this on-line going back-and-forth mechanism!!!Its not gonno help...why cant we get 2gerther,face to face...and see what everyone has to say....or who can contribute what. Vinyl vs. Dig also would be better discussed off-line (my personal opinion only) than on-line. As i said earlier, u and kelly are among the few that can really help build the right structure out here in this city.....to see all this talent,energy....go to waste, not healthy. |
