OMG yes, say oodbye to your social life is correct, i remmember playing for hours, would sleep while playing it then wake up playing it.
truly addicting i had to erase it from my pc so i wont play it.
my friends would go to parties and come back and all be still playing it, they would be WTF you're still playing , i'de be "yeah i reached the modern ages before any one else and queen elizabith wants to learn nationalism from me:wtf: . |

wow, amazing game!!! seriously one of the best games i've ever played!!! totally recommend you to buy it, unless you have played civ 3 before and you really really really disliked it..
I am screwed for my midterms because of this game!
