I'm quite a monkey fan.
For me, its all about the chimpanzee.
Actually, a few months ago they released the Chimp genome in Nature and Science, and it really was a very interesting read. Its freakish just how similar the chimp and human genomes are, from memory only someitng like 2.9% of genes are different, which is really pretty damn close. |

hahaha, this is my exact thoughts!!
regarding the chimp genome, they actually found the differences between the human and chimp sequences in a gene that is implicated in speech...............
I knew those lectures on genetic engineeering would come in handy
